Dear Dr. Biden,
While the tragic deaths of the three service members and 40 injured in Jordan this past weekend are directly due to the evil of the Iranian regime, you bear some responsibility as well. Your husband is unwell and has been for the entirety of his presidency. And yet you have covered for him and allowed him to serve.
This is not love. This is cruel. And has now cost many lives.
Perhaps in August of 2021 during the withdrawal of Afghanistan and the loss of 13 servicemen’s lives, the level of your responsibility could be mitigated. The generals were in charge. It was a new administration. It wasn’t as obvious how deteriorated your husband’s physical and mental states were.
But now. It’s obvious. He is not well. The generals are not in charge. The Secretary of Defense is AWOL.
Your husband is not in charge. No one seems to be in charge. And you are unwilling to face the truth of the situation. You are encouraging him to run again for another term. Why?
Are these lives not enough of a wake up call? Please.
You have touted your time as Second Lady that you are a champion of military spouses and the military. Selfless service is a key aspect of why those of us who serve do it. Do not continue to seek the office out of selfishness. Stop this madness. It’s time for the Commander-in-Chief to retire.
Signed,
A veteran, military spouse, and soon to be military parent.
