America
She bowed her head
Her tears flowed out with grief
Watchers and saints
Nowhere to find
They were sound asleep
Enemies took advantage
of her openness and love
Until the help much needed
was sent from above
Invaded, chained up, threatened maligned
Freedom was at war
Our enemies hadn’t counted
on God in heaven above
to guide, respond and send his angels
waking up the saints
Lady Liberty needs saving
It’s very plain to see
False accusations flying
For all the world to see
She’s been so kind to many
Helped those from other shores
Given quite the life to all
That walked right through her doors
So now let’s pray and rally
Believing God above
Will save HIS Lady Liberty
With power and with love
The light has shown the truth
Our enemies exposed
I have no doubt, that soon we’ll shout
A mighty victory
Our heroes and our babies’ blood
Have cried out for too long
Causing heaven’s angels and armies to respond
I can’t wait to see the Glory
The way that this is won
Until then, I will be at peace
Depending on the Son!
Lift the blinders Father
Unite us like before
America, America God shed His Grace on thee
