I can’t sleep
Thought in motion
I rarely sleep well
Thoughts toss and tumble
Body shakes and trembles
Moving to its own ethereal rules
Energy is the soul
Sometimes it speaks
Forgotten dreams
Unfinished thoughts
Eclectic thoughts
Nothing ever finished
Everything always in motion
Speeding towards somewhere
Even that not spoken
I say to you:
What of these ethereal thoughts?
I prefer pleasant thoughts
Even when not true
The world brings its own emotions
Raw, coarse
Beholden to itself
The sculptor needs no paint
Only vision
And a world to view
Always in motion
