Feared by most, it is my safe haven. It is where I find my truth, my serenity, my thoughts. Sometimes I break its silence through the impacts of my soul’s search for clarity. I look out into the world and watch without its knowledge. It was a time when my thoughts ran wild and tormented me, and now it is where I find peace.
It was a time when the world was green, and I was among the beasts delivered by the Night Stalkers. It is the moment of silence, the moment when most sleep. I fear not the dark for I thrive in the dark.
I belong in the dark. I see when others cannot.
