FORT BRAGG, NC — Tired of vehicles “looking like they’ve actually been to war” and Motor-T Marines racking up liberty-related NJPs like they’re merit badges, Gunnery Sergeant MacKenzie Halverson has launched Operation: DUSTSTORM DOMINANCE, mobilizing three full squads to wipe down every vehicle hourly using boot socks and broken toothbrushes.
“No vehicle shall deploy while dirty,” Halverson declared during a white-glove inspection—conducted with an actual white glove, naturally.
“This isn’t hazing,” insisted Motor-T platoon leader Second Lieutenant Johann McBignutts, sweat beading at his temples. “And it’s definitely not collective punishment for the recent tsunami of NJPs. It’s just good old-fashioned Motor-T motivation. I mean, you can’t spell motivation without Motor-T!” he added, a little too enthusiastically.
The results of the initiative speak for themselves:
- 17 soldiers now suffering early-stage elbow arthritis
- $7,000 spike in PX microfiber cloth sales
- Three reclass packets submitted—to Finance
Motor Pool morale has plummeted from a resilient “meh” to “low but still sarcastic,” proving once again that esprit de corps can survive anything… except Halverson with a clipboard.

Article 107 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice covers “false official statements.” As the name implies, Art107 News is Havok Journal’s satire wing, and you shouldn’t take anything published under this byline seriously. You should., however, mercilessly mock anyone who does.
