Gratitude does not depend
On circumstances or wealth
It’s a place in your heart
Deep inside
Sacred
Set apart
Wells of spiritual waters
That bubble and churn all the time
Living Waters…
He said
Reflections of faith
Pouring mercy and goodness to all
Tired? Exhausted? Worried today?
Do not go by what you see
Like searching for treasures
On beaches in time
Connect with the pure grateful heart
Then you will have
In due season and out
Peace that passes understanding and more
Take it from one
Who’s been high and low
Survived traumas, deep pains of all kind
Only ask, and receive
Heaven’s love deep within
You too will find healing and hope
