Veterans and active-duty service members across the nation will soon have a unique way to travel and connect, thanks to the launch of Foxhole, a groundbreaking bed-and-breakfast platform and networking tool exclusively for the veteran community. Co-founded by veterans Spencer Collazos and William Collins, Foxhole is designed to foster camaraderie, trust, and support within the veteran community.
What is Foxhole?
Foxhole serves two core purposes:
- Veteran-Hosted BnB: Veterans and active-duty service members can list their homes or properties to provide trusted, welcoming accommodations for fellow veterans. This unique platform ensures a sense of community and safety while allowing veterans to directly support one another.
- Veteran Friends Connection: Beyond travel, Foxhole helps veterans reconnect. The “Veteran Friends” feature allows users to add friends, privately share locations, and facilitate meetups. Whether catching up over dinner or offering a place to stay, Foxhole makes it easy to maintain and strengthen bonds.
Why Foxhole Matters
Foxhole addresses a pressing need in the veteran community: the growing sense of isolation many experience after leaving service. By providing a platform for connection, Foxhole helps veterans maintain the bonds they forged during their military careers. Beyond fostering camaraderie, Foxhole creates opportunities for mentorship between veterans of different generations, allowing experienced veterans to guide those transitioning to civilian life. This sense of shared purpose and mutual support strengthens the community and ensures no veteran feels left behind.
โVeterans understand each other in a way thatโs hard to replicate outside the service,โ said co-founder Spencer Collazos. โWith Foxhole, weโre creating a space where that bond can thrive, whether youโre traveling for leisure, reconnecting with old friends, or making new ones.โ
Launch Date and How to Get Involved
Foxhole officially launches on March 1, 2025. Starting that day, veterans can begin listing their properties and booking stays. The platform is open to all veterans and active-duty service members who want to support the community while enjoying trusted travel experiences.
