You are:
The shoah ashes morning descent
A leaden soft snowfall responsibility
Fifty years of bad confessions
The triumph of Natural Law Theory
Eliot grinning Belladonnas
The legs of her stolen lightning
Flashed upon tear-stained pages
An old man’s Birthday Letters
The shadow of Pious’ silent savior
Drooping against the walls of Auschwitz
Looming before the bloodstained landscape
The gloaming and its passionate hues
Reaching out to the star
While bearing the Holy bludgeon
Made limp your gangrened paternal descent.
You paved the purity of scars
Into the stanzas of history
For ghosts of rusted German tanks to roll
The chorus of angels singing “Father, I have sinned
They all sing now because of you.
And I fear the ironic nature
Of your artistic selektion
Of your own Final Solution
Stirred six million new terrible shrieks
Muffled behind glowing hot metal doors
Six million crimson locks melting
Made whole in trespasses tripartite
Etched into chalk sceptered minds
Resting on podiums behind ivied aging brick walls
The ink-blood veined shadows
Sleeping saintly on those hallowed leaves
Bombs bearing forged steel hatred
Wailing upon smoldering cities
The terror of phoenix rising
Your apocalyptic offspring pregnant
In a terse tear shed life, and good intent.
