It was bound to happen: a new restaurant chain is seeking to tap into some of the most popular of the highly-desirable 18-34 year old American male demographic: food, beer, attractive women and… the military.
“Bombshells” is the latest in a series of restaurants featuring young, attractive, scantily-clad women as part of the “breastaurant” scene. Restaurants already operating in this space include The Twisted Kilt, Mugs & Jugs, and of course Hooters.
What differentiates Bombshells from its racy competitors is its military theme. The restaurants feature military decor, and the wait staff sport military-inspired “uniforms,” complete with dog tags.
The name “Bombshell” is, of course, a double entendre. In the military a bombshell simply refers to an actual bomb, but the word more commonly refers to an attractive woman. Food, beer, engaging staff, and a patriotic, military theme. Seems like there’s a whole lot of ‘Merica going on at Bombshells.
