Desolation at its best is described
without despair and help
an endless drug of depression will run
a struggle throughout life
Nothing is what it seems
the last years have been a fake
not a minute could show you how much I’ve torn
trazodone and alcohol help tranquilize
These two will surely take me out
I pray that one day I’ll make progress
the countless nights will come to an end
what have I become
Set me free you, devil of a burden,
no drugs or alcohol will help keep me a slave
going off on the deep end is what it wants
there is so much more, more to living
